Nothing. The extension does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information, browsing history, or usage data.
FocusFlow stores your settings (which distraction surfaces to hide and your
channel whitelist) in your browser’s built-in chrome.storage.sync
API. This data:
Focus session state and daily streak counts are stored in
chrome.storage.local, which never leaves your device.
None. The extension ships no analytics library, no error reporting SDK, no advertising tag, and no third-party script of any kind. Every byte of JavaScript and CSS that runs in your browser ships inside the extension package and is reviewable on the Chrome Web Store.
FocusFlow makes zero network requests. There is no backend, no sync endpoint, no telemetry endpoint, and no update endpoint beyond the standard Chrome Web Store update mechanism operated by Google.
The extension requests the following permissions:
*://*.youtube.com/* — to read
and modify the YouTube page DOM so distracting elements can be hidden. No other permissions are requested. We do not request access to your browsing history, tabs, cookies, downloads, identity, or any other sensitive surface.
FocusFlow does not knowingly collect any information from anyone. Because it collects nothing, it is safe for users of all ages.
If we ever change our data practices (we do not anticipate doing so), we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the extension after a change constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
